PERSONA is an independent digital exhibition built in Edition. It brings together 48 masks and related sculptural faces, using public-domain photographs and collection records from the Cleveland Museum of Art.
Titles, dates, cultural identifications, materials and maker attributions follow those records, including their uncertainties. An object shown here is part of a specific place and history; the exhibition does not treat different mask traditions as interchangeable.
